Keeping pace with the rapid expansion of the domestic wind power industry, the company’s self-developed L-type special forging flange for wind power has achieved stable mass production. The enterprise has become one of the regional mainstream manufacturers capable of large-scale production of special-shaped wind power flanges, providing core connecting accessories for 3MW to 6MW onshore wind turbine towers.
Wind power flanges are key load-bearing connecting components of wind turbine towers, while special-shaped L-type flanges have long been restricted by complex rolling processes and low forming yield. The technical team has optimized the annular rolling forging process and upgraded the heat treatment temperature control curve, effectively solving the problems of excessive deformation and high material loss of special-shaped parts. The blank material loss is reduced by 12.3% year-on-year, greatly improving production economic benefits.
The product has passed the fatigue reliability test of wind power complete machine manufacturers and established long-term supporting cooperative relations with many wind power equipment enterprises. The company currently holds over 68 million yuan of wind power flange orders. It will further deploy R&D and production of large-diameter offshore wind power flanges to seize the incremental market of new energy equipment.
